Albury Wodonga now has its own beautiful design furniture showroom that wouldn’t be out of place in Church Street Richmond.
Gallus & Rea Design Furniture has celebrated its grand opening, giving VIP’s and special guests a personal tour of the designer style showroom featuring select pieces of premium furniture from Australian and International designers.

Co-founder Kerrie Burzacott says it’s been a long term dream of her and partner Russ France to develop this business in Albury.
“This is the style of furniture store you see in Melbourne or Sydney, where there’s a focus on a few brands, but they showcase the absolute best of those brands in a showroom style,” Kerrie said.
“We want people to walk in here and instantly see that something is going to be right at home at their place, to fall in love with it.”
Even before Gallus & Rea was open, there was a buzz and level of curiosity that even created an unexpected sale.
“We had one customer who contacted us via our Facebook page who noticed we were stocking Molmic furniture, asking us if we were going to have the Rydell Sofa in the showroom.
“I said ‘yes’, it arrived yesterday. I explained we weren’t opening for about three weeks, but if you can’t wait that long I can organise for you to have a look if you like.
“She was in the same day, Russ talked her through her options and within two days she’d come and paid her money.
“It’s so exciting and she is over the moon, she is in love with this sofa and that’s the kind of emotion we want to create.
“We picture people coming in and buying furniture, tailored to their taste and style and imagine they’ll want to keep forever and never actually replace.”
