Highlights planned for the popular La Dolce Vita, Wine and Food Festival in the King Valley have been revealed.
La Dolce Vita celebrates the Italian wines and the festive Italian spirit of the King Valley wine and food producers
Eleven participating wineries will open their doors in November for tastings of new release and museum release wines, authentic cuisine prepared by Nonna, or a renowned local chef, live music, roving entertainers, competitions, kids’ activities, masterclasses and more.
Festival highlights include a cooking master class with guest chef Adam Liaw, host of SBS’ hit series ‘Destination Flavour’. He will show participants how to prepare a simple wine-matched meal at Brown Brothers.
Politini Wines will host a Sicilian Seafood Feast, with Nonna Josie, daughter Bianca and local chefs serving up seafood matched with savoury wine styles.
Pizzini Wines cooking school will serve up a feast of gnocchi to match with new release Pinot Grigio and Sangiovese tastings. There’ll also be an ice-cream bar and activities for children.
Tuscan pork rolls are on the menu for the Prosecco Party at Dal Zotto, as well as live music and a DJ, while La Cantina will host local makers and producers for a market.
