Endurance was tested at the inaugural Murray Marathon Festival over the weekend.
The event started from Oddies Creek Park, taking in a picturesque riverside loop to Wonga Wetlands.
Distances included a certified marathon distance (accepted as Boston Marathon qualifiers of 42.195km), half-marathon, 12 kilometres and two kilometres for children.
Marathon winners were Kirby Hillier in a time of 3 hours and 8 minutes and Luke Preston, 2 hours 56 minutes.
