Exhibition – History of Rutherglen Wineries, Wahgunyah

With a winemaking heritage seven generations in the forging, Rutherglen is one of Australia’s most historic and iconic wine regions.

The Wahgunyah Historical Society and Pfeiffer Wines are thrilled to present a History Of Rutherglen Wineries exhibition at the winery throughout the month of August.

This exhibition at Pfeiffer Wines will feature a large collection of pictures and photographs that tell the stories of the people, the places and the events that helped shaped more than 150 years of Rutherglen wine-making heritage.

Concert – Classic Delights, Albury

Classic Delights is an hour of duets, songs and arias presented by former Alburian Alexandra Oke (soprano), with Anna Plotka (mezzo soprano) and Paul Tasker (piano).

Melbourne-based duet Alexandra and Anna are teaming up with the talented Albury pianist Paul Tasker to give Albury audiences an afternoon of treats from the worlds of classical music, the musicals and operetta (full translations will be available in the program for items not in English).

Produce, Rutherglen Farmers’ Market

The Rutherglen Farmers Market brings together all that is seasonal, regional and beautiful about produce in North-East Victoria.

Among the stall holders on Sunday 12 August is Milawa Bread and John the Oyster Bloke selling beautiful NSW South Coast oysters.

Markets open from 9am at Lions Park.
