A new immersive cinema experience is being launched in Albury Wodonga, where the audience is tempted with the unknown, and asked to keep a secret.
Hidden Cinema is inspired by ‘Secret Cinema’ London that was launched in 2007.
Audiences buy their tickets for a time and date, however they don’t know the name of the film, or the location. This is a secret which is revealed slowly in the days before the event.
Hidden Cinema starts on Friday 6 October and will run over the following two weekends. This is an event for families, with audiences split up upon entry, with groups of adults set to receive a slightly ‘spookier’ time than the family groups.
Rather than arrive and sit in a dark room to watch a film, audiences will be met by actors who will take them on an immersive journey, all based on the theme of the secret film that will be shown later in the night.
