Gardenesque to return to Albury Botanic Gardens in October.

Here’s something to look forward to in spring! Albury’s feature flower and garden festival is returning in October with local landscape, florist and industry professionals encouraged to register their intention to exhibit.

AlburyCity Team Leader Events Ros Walls says the first Gardenesque festival in 2019 attracted thousands of visitors.

“It was absolutely incredible, beyond our expectations,” Ros said.

“We had people who came through on the Saturday with the kids, and mums would sneak back on the Sunday for another quick look. Vendors sold out of plants, it was popular with everybody.”

A limited number of spaces are available to qualified landscape and florist professionals to design, build and exhibit a display of their choice over the two-day festival.

“If you have a product or service involved in landscaping, gardens, plants, flowers, tools, chooks – anything to do with the backyard, we’re looking for vendors to come on board prior to September 1 so we can sign you up,” Ros said.

“We had over 45 vendors in 2019 and because it was such a hit no doubt more people will want to come on board.

“We had one vendor involved in turf and he picked up 38 new customers from Gardenesque, so that’s a fantastic result for our local businesses.”
