Haldon Estate, Baarmutha and Indigo Vineyard have picnic facilities where you can enjoy the grounds. Serengale Vineyard’s cellar door is set within their winery and Bowman’s Run and Star Lane lie in the sleepy hamlet of Wooragee.

History – The Way of the Reformer: Gough Whitlam in his Century, Albury
Gough Whitlam shaped the Australian nation, but before that, the Australian nation shaped him.
An exhibition underway at the Albury LibraryMuseum, marks the centenary of Gough Whitlam’s birth and tells the story of the man behind the legacy – the bright Canberra schoolboy obsessed with Greek myths, the RAAF navigator braving hazardous skies at the height of the Pacific war, and the young father starting a family on the urban fringe.
