A new sensory exhibition is underway at Arts Space Wodonga, with local artist Abi Thompson’s dramatic watercolours accompanied by a soundtrack of nature.
Abi has a cochlear implant and is more sensitive to sound than most.
In this exhibition Abi has used multiple media to engage all the senses, including watercolours, gouache, mono-print overlays and even pianola rolls.
“With any landscape, it’s not just what you see, but also what you feeL,”
“The smells, the sounds. That’s what makes a place distinct from anywhere else, Abi said”
The exhibition runs until September 30 at Arts Space Wodonga.
