History, The Paddle Steamers of Wahgunyah Exhibition
Paddle steamers were one of Australia’s inland pioneering transport systems and at their peak there were about 190 paddle steamers operating on the Murray-Darling rivers.
As a major river port at the time, the Wahgunyah History Group has a large collection of pictures and photographs of local paddle steamers including P.S Jane Eliza, Wahgunyah and Waradgery, as well as others that passed through the port. Join Pfeiffer Wines Rutherglen throughout the month of August to view this exciting exhibition.
Entertainment – Border Choral Voice, Albury
The founding Artistic Director and Conductor of ‘The Choir of Hard Knocks’ Jonathon Welch returns to the region for a choral event, incorporating workshops, ‘flash mob events’ a casual public choir event and a Saturday night concert.
Money raised will go towards Wewak Street School MUSIC-ABILITY program.

Markets, Lake View House, Chiltern
