Tash has performed to sold-out audiences across Australia and overseas, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Melbourne International Comedy Festival and will perform at the Bended Elbow, Albury on Saturday night 10 August.

Action – Sled Dog Challenge, Dinner Plain
Ramp up the ‘cute’ factor and watch the top dogs of sled dog racing take on the snow at Dinner Plain this weekend.
More than 80 mushers (dog team drivers) and in excess of 350 sled dogs are expected to compete over two days.

Arts & Culture – Moments on the Murray, Albury
The beauty, fragility and tranquillity of the Murray River is being celebrated in a new exhibition at MAMA.
Artist Chris Ellis presents Moments on the Murray, a series of recent large-scale oil paintings created in the studio from photos, sketches and watercolour studies.
His motivation is to grow awareness of the river’s environmental challenges and the need to manage it carefully for a sustained future. The exhibition runs until September 22.

Family – Our Future Scientists, Albury
Earlier this year students from Wodonga Middle Years College, St Anne’s Primary School in Albury and Galen Catholic College in Wangaratta represented Australia at the 2019 VEX Robotics World Championships in Louisville, USA.
Drop in and meet these young scientists as they demonstrate their robotics and share their experiences at the championships that brought together 1,200 of the top student-led teams from around the world.
They will be at Albury’s LibraryMuseum on Saturday from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

Comedy – Women Like Us, Albury
Women Like Us is a two-hour stand-up comedy show by Ellen Briggs and Mandy Nolan at the SS&A Club on Friday night 9 August.
They have performed this show more than 120 times all over Australia to rave reviews. The pair covers off all the important topics like getting fat, getting old, stinky teenagers, weird tv shows, weird surgeries and even who unpacks the dishwasher.
They promise the laughs will keep coming every 15 seconds, so it’s not only a night out – it’s an ab workout!
