Next month’s inaugural Love + Light Wedding Festival in Rutherglen is gaining momentum with more than 60 venues and suppliers signed up to showcase their offerings.
Prizes valued at more than $8500 have also been announced including a major prize package worth around $6000 alone, including dress design, photography, wedding planning and more, with further rewards for two other lucky winners who visit each venue along the trail.
“This makes a fabulous start towards a Rutherglen wedding, with huge savings making a world of difference for our prize winners’ wedding budgets,” event director Georgie James said.
“If you’re getting married in the foreseeable future, it’s a fantastic opportunity to experience the talents of some of the region’s best wedding suppliers.”
Georgie promises the festival will put a spin on the traditional wedding exhibition.
“Instead of seeing rows upon rows of 3 x 3 metre booths, Love + Light will feature all participating venues styled as ‘wedding ready’.
“This unique twist means our guests get to see their best day in advance, with the ability to envisage exactly who they want to work with and where.”
