The finishing touches are underway as designers and retailers prepare to showcase their new season ranges for the GO Fashion Show Spring Summer 2020 Collection.
Although the fashion industry has taken a major hit during the pandemic, event organiser Bernadette Torresan says increased capacity in New South Wales venues allowed this popular event to continue on October 11, with a few adjustments.
“We are excited to offer the unique experience at SS&A Albury which has sold out, and we will be hosting an online event afterwards which will be uploaded via our Facebook page @gofshionshow to allow insight to the GO Fashion Show Spring Summer 2020 Collection,” Bernadette said.
“We are leveraging off the success of major fashion shows held in New York and Milan, whom have successfully launched their fashion shows online during the pandemic.
“At times like this, I think people are itching for something to do and also seeking ways in how they can support locals. They want unique experiences and to be educated on how they can support Australian industry. We are excited to offer both options of a smaller, more intimate event and afterwards an online fashion broadcast.”
GO Fashion Show is an annual event highlighting where consumers can find quality garments and accessories manufactured, designed and retailed in Australia.
“I think it is important to support events such as GO Fashion Show, because it’s all about supporting your locals, the Australian fashion industry and each other, and we all need this now more than ever,” Bernadette said.
